All of Al-Rouyah’s activities are Shariah compliant.  Its Shariah Board consists of the following:

Dr. Abdelaziz Khalifa Al-Qasar, Shariah Board Chairman
Dr. Al-Qasar is a Kuwaiti national holding a Bachelor’s degree in Shari’a from the University of Kuwait, a Masters degree and a PhD degree from the Al-Azhar University in Islamic Jurisprudence (Fiqh). He is currently an assistant professor of the Shari’a College at Kuwait University.  As a distinguished scholar, Dr. Al-Qasar is a member in the Shariah Boards of many Islamic financial institutions and banks around the world.

Dr. Issa Zaki Issa, Shariah Board Member
Dr. Issa is an Assistant Professor at the College of Basic Education, Public Authority for Applied Education & Training in the State of Kuwait. He is a member of several Fatwa and Sharia Boards and Committees, including the Fatwa Committee at the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs (Kuwait), the Shari’ah Board of the Zakat House (Kuwait), and the Kuwait Awqaf Public Foundation. Dr. Issa is also the author of several books and publications on different Islamic subjects, and is a regular speaker at Islamic conferences and forums.  He holds a Ph.D. in Comparative Fiqh from the Islamic University, Al-Madina Al-Monawarah, Saudi Arabia.

Dr. Ali Ibrahim Al-Rashed, Shariah Board Member
Dr. Al-Rashed is a member of several Shariah supervisory boards for prominent companies in the GCC.  In addition, he is a teacher in comparative Fiqh and Shari’ah policy in the Faculty of Shariah and Islamic studies at Kuwait University.
